An East side band that began as a merger of ex-members from other local bands Tommy & the Artelles, the Premiers, the Gas Company, and the 21 Century. Members included Tom DeMarco (lead vocals), Wayne Schlechter (guitar ex-Morlocks), Lee Dinatale (bass), Ellsberry Bowers (trombone), Marlon Deacon (sax ex-Tempests…), and Rick Piniecki (trumpet). Dinatale, Deacon, and Piniecki were all members of Deacon. In 1970 Larry Sulin (drums) joined the group. They performed at the Parkville Teen Center, Beaver Dam Swim Club, Clubs, Eastern Shore gigs…

The band shortened name to Stoneberry in 1973, and later became known as Fable.

Deacon and Piniecki later played for the Gazze Band. Sulin was also with Annie Oakley, and played in a backup band for Johnny Tillotson.

Dinatalie was instrumental in forming the Berwick Street Project in 2003 that also featured Stoneberry Blue alumni Deacon, Piniecki, and Sulin.
