Top-40 R&B, rock & roll, and standards band. Some of the members attended Mergenthaler Vocational Technical High School (MERVO) where they performed the “Twistmas Tree Dance.” The Du-Kays also performed at the Hamilton Rec Center, and Warren Park Apartments dance. Managed by Charles Williamson, members included vocalists Peggy Kyle, Elizabeth Parks, and Ray Hales (ex-Iridescents), with band featuring Jim Dallam (piano), Elwood Woody Schneider (bass –Nomads…), Ken Hylock (drums), Barry Sachs (guitar –Upsetters…), and Jerry Strager (sax –Johnny Walker’s Good Guys…).
