Played teen centers before moving on to progressive rock clubs like the Scorpio, and the Bluesette. Early group members included Gil Reinhardt (guitar), Eddie DiMarino (bass), Lew Schwartz (drums), Jim Tice (bass ex-Uncertain Things, Ames Oakes). Schwartz left the group and was replaced with Sonny Lurch. Blackfoot Smoke took the Koffee Beans place as house band at Judge’s. Additional members included saxophonists Marty Miller, and Roger Pace. Vince Corolla took the band and formed Krackerjax. Tice led a later incarnation of the group that featured former Orange Wedge guitarists Kraig Krixer, and Fred Zang, along with Vince Chris (drums), and Jerry Nitzberg (drums ex-Ames Oakes). This group became known as Cousin Fox.

DiMarino also played with Denny & the Hitchhikers, Al Rossi’s Joy, and went on to play in Wayne Newton’s backing band. Chris also played for Pooba, and Sawbuck, before heading to Las Vegas and traveling with the Bruce Westcott Band.
