The Razz was a D.C. based rock band that also played in the Baltimore area. Drummer Pete Ragusa went on to join the Nighthawks in 1974. Seen at a Painter’s Mill New Years concert with Zehn Archar, and Orange Wedge. In 1977 they released the single “C. Redux” b/w “70’s Anome” (O’Rourke 257). Members on recording were Michael Reidy (vocals), Abaad Behran (guitar), Bill Craig (guitar), Ted Nicely (bass, vocals), and Doug Tull (drums). A 7” EP single “Airtime” (O’Rourke/Limp 030) was recorded at SRI and released in 1979 with Tommy Keene replacing Behran on guitar. Razz also released in 1979 the single “You Can Run” b/w “Who’s Mr. Comedy” (O’Rourke/Limp 031).

Razz Guitarist Tommy Keene later released critically acclaimed recordings in the ‘80s on Park Avenue, Dolphin, and Geffen Records. Tull’s later groups include the Billy Coulter Band.
