Group formed when Spike Settles came back from California. Original members were a Club 66 jam-band playing cool British blues but lacked a lead singer. The original lineup (’95-96) featured Spike Settles (vocals, 12-string, piano), Sandy Cormack (lead guitar virtuoso, vocals), Phil Anderson (bass, vocals), and Dave Lockoff (drums, vocals).
The Pipefitters played an early jam gig at Club 66, but came together as a band in late 1995. Photo below shows the original members along club owner Dave Rode.

In 1996 the band went through some changes with new members Lee Townsend (bass, vocals), and Edgar Myers (drums, vocals).
Spike & The Pipefitters played British blues, rock and psychedelia. Seen at Club 66, Bachman Valley Inn…
Thanks Spike!
