Rock band from Northeast Baltimore featuring former Nomads members Roland Gannon (guitar), and Woody Schneider (bass), with Joe Romanello (rhythm guitar), Dingo (drums), Ed Butler (vocals), Jimmy Distler (guitar, bass), and Dave. Also see Muffin.
Distler went on to join John Billy & the Honey Boys. He also worked as a solo artist and performed in many coffee houses, jams and pickup sessions. In 1997 Roland Brown of The Van Dykes heard Distler playing guitar in a music store. In need of a guitarist, he invited Jim to join the band to perform at their second reunion gig for the Revisions Foundation at Turf Valley Country Club. In the ‘00s Jim teamed up with Dan Sheer (12-string guitar, vocals) as the duo Friendz, playing ballads, standards, and oldies music. Jim Distler also played guitar and bass on Sheer’s CD “Mel’s Moon.”
