Jazz group originally a trio with a May 1957 line-up featuring Bobby on alto sax (ex-Internationals), Donald Bailey (bass), and Bobby Nelson (drums). By 1958 Young had assembled a new line-up with Claude Hubbard (piano), Bill Henderson (bass), and Fats Clark on drums, the quartet could be heard at the Club Astoria on Edmondson Avenue.

Bailey later played in various groups. He was with the group that played the first Left Bank Jazz Society show. Nelson was later with the Swintones. Hubbard formed a jazz trio in the mid-’60s. Henderson went on to play with Gary Bartz.
