Guitarist / vocalist moved from upstate New York to the Baltimore area in 1974. He began playing in local clubs and soon formed a duo with guitarist Mark Brinsfield called Brinsfield & Wight.

Dan Zukowski (ex-Cristal Webb) joined the group and they became a trio known as Brinsfield Dannon Wight. Eventually Brinsfield left the group and the Dannon Wight duo continued to perform throughout Baltimore, Ocean City, D.C., and Greenwich Village in New York. The group recorded at The Hit Factory in New York, and at LSI Studios in Nashville under the direction of Irwin Levine, writer of several Top-10 hits in ‘60s and ‘70s. Dannon Wight released a 4-song EP of original recordings titled “In My Time,” and appeared on the “Hello Baltimore” TV program. Their single “Down and Out” was included on WKTK’s “Baltimore’s Best Rock” album.
Dannon Wight split up in 1982. Wight continued to play full time as a solo artist. He has also worked as a duo with Dave Eminizer (‘84-91), and with Mark Jacob (95-03+).
