Guitarist Danny Lough (ex-Island, Penny Candy, Sage, Bandit) put together this band that included John Waskey (bass ex-Flood), John Brittingham (keyboards), and Dave Huether (drums ex-Vehicle)… later adding Vince Vigliotti (guitar). Huether, Vigliotti, and Waskey had appeared as members of Daryl Beard’s backup band (see bio). Huether also worked with Helmut Licht… and later a member of Assuming Shapes… Vigliotti later with Maximum Force, Thunder Chicken, Daryl Davis Band…

The Danny Lough Band played at George’s 6408 on Route 40, Wildwood Hall on Dogwood Road, also seen at Nick & Fred’s in Hyattsville. Danny’s studio in the Watermont Shopping Center in Ellicott City was where the band practiced and recorded.


Lough was later a member of the Core, Beginnings, and Kaos in the ‘80s. In the ‘90s he was the lead guitarist for Mary Lou & the Untouchables. After a brief retirement from the music business, he formed a 3-piece rockabilly group called the 45’s. More recently he joined Blue Steele, and Joint Venture, later returning to Mary Lou…
