The WBMD wagon, which was a broadcast studio on a log cabin style house trailer, traveled around to do remote broadcasts from shopping centers and special events. On Wednesday nights Tex Daniels (see bio) hosted a radio show featuring his Western Musicowboys, the show was broadcast live from Johnny’s Used Cars on Belair Road and King Ford in Essex. ‘Smilin’ Jack Hamlin also did remotes from the Log Cabin trailer during the 1960s. He also played pedal steel guitar and was a member of the 70s/80s country band Mama Tried.

Vince Bagli later went on to WBAL-TV and became one of Baltimore’s most well-known sportscasters. Bauman went on to establish a television career at WJZ-TV becoming one of Baltimore’s most well-known broadcast journalists. Dan Bishop also worked as emcee at local clubs including live radio broadcasts of Ronnie Dove & the Beltones at the Spa Club in October 1961.
