Released single “The Baltimore Bagel Blues,” an up-tempo Western swing blues song, recorded at East Coast Sound, engineered by Brent Mingle, featured ‘Jim Dandy’ Clopein (drums), Jeff Bober (lead and rhythm guitar), John Waskey (bass), Ed Pachilis (piano), and Jim Robertson (sax). The B-side “Why Can’t I Stop This Hurtin’,” a country ballad, was recorded at Woodland Studios in New Windsor, engineered by Tony Eichler, and featured Jack DiPietro (bass), Doug Kemp (drums), Jeff Hyman (steel guitar), and Barry Sless (lead and rhythm guitar).
