Evolved from Alien Blues, and played an eclectic mix of R&B, Reggae, Rock, Blues Polka and Tango. Members John Schock (keyboards, accordion, vocals), Grady Harris (guitar and Vocals), Sig Sorenson (sax) later replaced by Dan Naiman, Keith Weiner (bass), and Bill Saffell (drums) later replaced by Steve Raskin. Schock, Harris, Weiner, and Saffell all ex-Alien Blues.
Two Legs performed full nights of original music with the occasional cover song, mostly in Baltimore at venues such as St. John’s Church (27th and St Paul), Café Tattoo (Belair Rd), Eight by Ten (Federal Hill), Johns Hopkins University, SoWeBo Festivals and Fells Point bars Max’s on Broadway, Full Moon Saloon, and E.J Bugs.
They released two independent cassette albums “Dog Song” (1988) and “Beating a Dead Horse (1991). Their song “Hand Over Hand” was featured on the various artists album “8 Essential Attitudes Vol. II” (Frantic 008).
Harris moved to the Czech Republic in 1992. There he formed a band called Wild Palms and released a CD “Cover Your Legs” featuring covers of Two Legs songs. Schock and Raskin were also members of The Polkats.
