Rock Top-40 band featuring a trio of lead vocalists, originally billing themselves as Maryland’s answer to Three Dog Night. Members included ex-Denny & the Chadwicks’ vocalists Woody Woods and Denny Twigg, and third vocalist Jimmy Stillinger, along with Vernon Snead (guitar), Mike Mathias (keyboards), Mike Wann (drums ex-One Another)… Mike Kanter (drums)…



Trilogy could be seen at St. Mark’s CYO, St. Francis CYO, Ellicott City Lion’s Club, teen centers, school dances…. On the night club circuit, they played venues such as the Keystone Inn, Sierra Torch Club, Golden 40 Inn, Hollywood Palace, Bojangles Too, Club Venus…

The group split up in 1976. Twigg and Woods joined the Admirals. In 1977 Trilogy re-formed to play the local club circuit as a disco group with vocalists Twigg, Woods, and Vicky Atwood (ex-Ajax). The band included Snead, Mathias, Daryl ‘Yogi’ Dickerson (drums), Steven Rosch, Dave… Seen at the Club Venus, Carl & Lenny’s…


Snead later went on to the bands Main Event, and Jeffrey. He was replaced with Jim Johnston (guitar ex-Shane, Harbor City Revue). Wann (also played for Dryed Ice) was replaced with Mark Weidinger (ex-Brass Lamp, Jake). Guitarist Michael Gallaher also enjoyed a stint with Trilogy.
Twigg went on to join Secrets, Majestics… Johnston later played for the Keith LaMotte Band. Mathias with After Hours… Wann with Gary & the Groove…
