Ellicott City based Top-40 band. Members included Keith Burgess (keyboards), Jay Vizzini (guitar ex-Tor-Tones), Phil Steele (drums), and Steve Mitchell (keyboards). Steele and Mitchell were previously in the bands Blitzkrieg, and Fable.
Sunset was primarily a road band. Locally they could be seen at the Airport Holiday Inn, Security Ramada, T.J.’s Greenery in Towson, and the Wharf in Ocean City. Also seen at Howard High School on April 11, 1975.
Mitchell went on to join Meadow. Burgess and Vizzini continued performing in the ‘00s with their band Zip Drive.
