Recording project spearheaded by Timonium area pianist/vocalist Greg Bolesta as his alter ego Smithfield Freeman. An album of rock music with classical overtones was produced at Sheffield Studios titled “Sick-e” (Seamen 1537).
Many local artists contributed to the album including Kent Ashcroft (guitar), John Lodsin (bass *Bill Prouty, Scorpio Rising, Brass Menagerie), Griz Gifford (trombone *United Endeavor, Falstaff), Bob Bruch (trombone), Doug Bull (trumpet *Lafayettes, Majestics), Paul Cridler (trumpet *Admirals), Jack Wolfe (sax, woodwinds), George Orner (violin), Joseph Bykov (violin), William Martin (violin), Paula Virizley (cello), Steve Rosenheim (flute), Barbara Riehl (vocals -Joy, Monopoly…), and Bunky (vocals).
