Saxophonist graduated from Peabody Conservatory. Saunders played tenor and alto sax as well as flute and clarinet. In early ‘70s he was a member of Helmut Licht’s Quartet. He has performed with many well-known artists including Frank Sinatra, Buddy Hackett, Elvis Presley, 5th Dimension, Supremes, Temptations, James Brown, Bill Medley…
Saunders performed concerts at Painter’s Mill, the Morris Mechanic Theater… In 2001, together with keyboardist Dottie Tim (see bio), they released a children’s music CD “Jazz for Kids.” The duo also released the 2002 jazz CD “Une Affaire de Coeur.” Local performances include shows at Baltimore Museum of Art…
