Led by Riehl who played keyboards and brass instruments (sometimes noted to play organ and trumpet simultaneously), the Dick Riehl Orchestra performed for social functions, proms, etc. throughout the Baltimore area.

In the early 1950s Riehl’s orchestra featured vocalist Johnny Mann (see bio). In the ‘60s they performed as a house band at the Westview Lounge. Also seen at the Sea Gull Inn, Port Welcome cruises, Ocean City night clubs… Riehl was also a member of the Krazy Kats in the ‘50s, and the Duets in the ‘60s.
