Female vocal group originally known as the Lonnettes (1966-67). The trio formed at Sparrows Point High School consisted of Charlene Dowdy-King, Sheila Gaylord, and Mary Smith. The girls were the winning act in the Council Capers Competition in March 1967. They traveled to New York and recorded their original songs “I Still Love You,” and “Show Me the Way,” for Decca Records.
In 1967 they became known as the Reflections and signed with Bay Sound Records stable of artists. Backed by the Chaumonts rhythm section they did not release any Bay Sound recordings of their own, however they were the backing vocalists for the Chaumonts “Loving Soft Soul” in 1968.
