Viola Griffin and AAT Productions first Awards Banquet to honor Baltimore’s own renowned Doo-Wop & R&B groups from the 1950’s, 1960’s & 1970’s took place on Sunday April 14, 2013 at the Waxter Senior Center 1000 Cathedral St., Baltimore, MD 21205.
Honorees included Bobby Starr, The Royalettes, The Persians, Winfield Parker, Jimmy Briscoe & the Little Beavers, The Shalimars, First Class, Frankie & the Spindles, Kenny Hamber, The Softones, The Whatnauts, The Ravenettes.
Live entertainment was provided by Ol-Skool.
The Master of Ceremonies Big Jim alongside the Mistress of Ceremonies ‘Rambling Rose’ Rosa Pryor-Trusty.
