Smooth jazz guitarist originally from Lafayette, Indiana, and grew up in the D.C. area. Navarro did session work in L.A. with many great artists including Doc Severinson, Nell Carter, Eric Gale, and others. His group in ‘80s featured Steve Zerlin (bass), Dan Reynolds, (keys), and Mike Aubin (drums).
Navarro established his own record label Positive Music and relocated to Ellicott City in in 1990. His first solo album “The River Flows” was released in 1990 and subsequent releases continued to earn critical acclaim and chart success. His 1991 album “After Dark” was nominated for a Grammy.
Navarro toured nationally. Locally he made appearances on WSMJ ‘Smooth Jazz Radio’, and WJZ-TV Coffee with Don and Marty…
