Duo of Steve Michaels (guitar ex-Seventh See), and Frank Chase (guitar, sax, flute – Ducanes, Final Touch…) performed for many parties, clubs, banquets and weddings. Club work included the Frankford Inn, Continental Lounge, and the Cromwell Holiday Inn. They began playing the Holiday Inn circuit in Frederick and Hagerstown, later traveling nationally playing clubs in Nebraska, Colorado, Kansas, and North Dakota. The duo worked extensively in Daytona Beach area, and house band work at the Hub in Dover. Returning to Baltimore, they secured a gig as house band at the Red Fox club in Bel Air, and later at the Orchard Inn.
Michaels (actually Steve Stravino) continued as solo performer. Billed as Stevie & the Diva, Michaels performed duets with various partners including Ann Beccio (Royal 5+1). As of this writing Steve has played steady weekly gigs for seven years at the Bamboo House in Timonium.
