The trio could be heard at the Las Vegas Club on Warwick Avenue, Maceo’s, Adams Lounge, Gussie’s Down Beat… Featuring Pete on the Hammond organ along with vocalist Lou Martin, and Joe Booker on drums. The group featuring vocalist John Cooley released a single in 1959 on Jerry Schwing’s Jay Wing label (5802) “Magic Moon” b/w “Why Tell Me Now.”
Martin also played for the Stylists and appeared on their Jay Wing recordings.
