Pop and blues guitarist/vocalist/songwriter. Performed regularly at the Full Moon Saloon as a solo artist as well as a member of local and/or touring groups Fresh Water (1974-80), Blind Dog (1989-94 later known as Night Street) with Chris McAfee (guitar), Ray Wood (bass), Lee Morgan (drums), and Joe Yackanac (sax).
The group released a full-length cassette, but split up soon afterward.
They re-formed in 1995 with Kendig/McAfee (guitars), bassists Matt O’Connor, Jeff Wilson, Dan Toomey, Brian Wildman, then Rick Tremble, and drummers Rob Chirnside, then Billy Meyers.
In 1995 Night Street released the CD “Two Fine Looking Women.”
The Brian Kendig Trio (2009+) consisted of Kendig with Tremble and Chirnside (later replaced with drummer Charlie Breuninger. Kendig released a solo CD “Catfish Moon” in 2001.
