Edmondson Heights based rock band founded by Ray Polansky (lead vocals, trumpet) and Jeff Cheers (guitar), with Jimmy Erwood (drummer whose dad was manager), Joe Topper (bass), John Votta (keyboards), Mark Connelly (guitar).

The group played the Kerby Scott Show, and the Gwynbrook Electric Gamefarm on channel 67.

Hyde Park was a finalist in Pepsi sponsored “New Sounds” for 1972 contest.

The band played at Levering Hall, Pikesville Fire Hall, Leed’s Hall in Arbutus, St. Paul’s CYO… They played many proms, and nightclubs including weekends at the Frigate, the Stowaway in Ocean City, the Stardust, Hollywood Palace, Club Venus, Latin Casino, Merritt House, Gallery, Dulaney Inn, Bojangles…

Scott Johnson (keyboards) was a member of the group in ‘74-75 before going on to join Both Worlds. Steven Guest was soundman and went on to work for the likes of Bette Midler, David Bowie, David Sanborn, Pink Floyd, and many others. Other members included Rich Rice (guitar), Rob Finecey (bass), Jim Charlsen (bass), Tom Anderson (keyboards), Greg Lupton (keyboards), Ralph Tucker (drums), Bill Lolligar (drums), Paul Soroka (sax), Tommy DiPaula (bass), Tommy Head (trumpet), Ray Sydnor (sax), Sammy Dyson (trombone), and the group went on to become One for All. Member Mike Franczkowski later joined Beginnings.
