“The Heaters were active from 1980 until 2017. We had a lot of members during that time and the band was constructed to keep the members involved with the group even after they had moved on to other projects. So, no one really left, they would leave and return as the need would arise. I fronted the band and played guitar, bass and drums and vocals. Glenn Flodstrom played keyboards, guitar, bass and vocals. Marty Citgo, Eddie Barney and Tom Wheeler were the primary guitarists. Marty and Eddie both sang as well. Scott McKnight from D.C. played guitar and keys. Jamie Hopkins, Chris Sellman, and Jay Corey played bass with Jamie adding vocals and providing a second front man, Kevin Ingber played keyboards, guitar and vocals, Ron Capitol also played keys and sang with us for a while. Geoff Hughes, Mike Otto and Billy Weeks were the drummers. Jay Cleaver, Don Mark and Steve Hoke played sax. Gene Meros also played sax for a while.”
“These were the Baltimore players. We had another group in Cecil County and a third in Cape May, New Jersey (I haven’t included them because they didn’t play the many Baltimore gigs. “

Rob had previously played drums with Tex Rubinowitz in D.C. He also played a fair amount of solo over the years.
