After his stint with the Algiers, vocalist Joe Pasko formed his new band called the Headliners. The original group consisted of Pasko (vocals), with Carmen Popoli (guitar), Carl Matani (bass), Bruce Westcott (keyboards), Artie Kay (drums), Mike Palmeiri (trumpet)… The group eventually traveled to Las Vegas where they performed a 14-week engagement at Fremont Hotel. Upon their return they played as house band at the Surf Club. Also toured East Coast, Canada…
The Headliners were also seen as the Wednesday through Sunday night band at the Escapade on Belair Road in the mid-’60s.

Continuing into the ‘70s the Headliners consisted of Pasko, with Tony Stover (organ), Danny Murphy (drums), and Freddie Brent (sax). They could be heard as house band at Jo-Ads House of Miller in Dundalk. Other members included Wayne Grimm (guitar ex-Galaxies), Don Snyder (guitar), John Roberts…
Pasko and Brent later performed with Bobby Anderson’s Group 5.
