Progressive rock band seen at the Bluesette. Members included Marty Mettee (lead guitar ex-Graham Chambers System), Phil Gammerman (bass), Max Highstein (keys ex-Walnut Bunch, Jay B & Capris), and Terry (drums).
Happy Erv was featured on WJZ-TV on January 26, 1969.
Mettee went on to join Yowza Dowza. Highstein eventually relocated to Santa Fe, NM. In 1986 he released the first of a series of meditative new age instrumental albums “The Healer’s Touch” (Serenity Records). Through 2009 he had released at least 12 full length albums…
