Country band formed by ex-Country Strings members Clarke Rice (guitar) and Phil Carter (bass), with Russell Anderson (guitar), and a drummer who went by the name ‘Snap’ Weed.

The band had about a two-year run, mainly at Perry’s Lounge in Odenton. After the band broke up Phil and Clarke continued to perform as a duo called Carter and Rice.

Clarke Rice and his wife Phylis Rice (keyboard) later worked with a 5-piece group called Expressions that lasted for about two years. Clarke and Phylis later re-formed the Expressions as a duo and performed throughout the Chesapeake Bay area.
