Featuring Sally Jane and her husband Bobby Brown (announcer for WBMD radio), with the Roane Brothers group Johnny Roane and Glenn Roane, with Lynn Strauff (pedal steel), Eddie Wilson (bass), Phil Carter (bass)… Many musicians came through this band.

The group performed as house band at Carl’s Club 33, the Southern Inn, and a long-standing gig as a house band at the Bolero Lounge in Brooklyn. With Bobby’s substantial radio following and his on-air connections, the band opened for star entertainers and high-profile bands, mainly connected with Nashville.

They released a single on Bolero Records. Both sides were written by Johnny Roane of the Roane Brothers.

Strauff also worked and recorded with Ron Goodwin, Bill Banks & Virginia Breeze, and appeared on many of the Wedge Records sessions.
