Folk singer/guitarist. Along with Ben Syfu (guitar) the duo recorded an album for Vanguard / Apostolic Records in 1969. Billed as Boa Constrictor & A Natural Vine, the LP consisted of trippy bluesy folk-rock originals.

A brilliant but sporadic musician, George led the way in adapting country influences into folk music and influenced Gram Parsons who adapted Figg’s version of “The Streets of Baltimore.”
