Guitarist – singer – songwriter, Gary started out playing rock and roll before turning to bluegrass music. He has played with Snodgrass, Garris Brothers, Bittersweet, Redwood, among others… As a solo artist his album releases include “Thinkin’ ‘Bout You” (1990), “Without You” (1992), “I’m Really Leaving” (1995), and “Timberline” (1999).

Gary’s 1996 composition “Last Day at Gettysburg” was recorded by Larry Sparks & the Lonesome Ramblers and spent a year on the Bluegrass Unlimited magazine charts. His albums and singles have placed nationally on Bluegrass Unlimited. His songs have been recorded by artists such as Cliff Waldron, Paul Adkins, and Larry Sparks…

Gary also released duo CD collaborations with Sally Love “Our Old Home” (2004). The title cut “Our Old Home” charted nationally and another cut “Take It Out Back” was featured on the cable TV program Car Talk.

He also released records with Junior Barber “Stuff That Works” (2004), and “Americana Crossroads Live.”
