Classic rock group originally known as Second Shift. They became Bad Neighbors in early 1989 playing a mix of rock, blues, and bluegrass debuting at the Cat’s Eye in Fells Point.

Original members were guitarist/vocalists Art Levi, Bill Phelan (ex-Elf Park, Hoi Polloi…), and Pat Scally (also ex-Elf Park) (all three formerly with the Irish band Tara), with Dave Pugh (guitar ex-Modern Times, The Break), and Susan Grover (drums). Grover left the group in late ’89 and was replaced with Greg Worsley. Later drummers included Brad Holmes, then Rich Behles.

When needed to fill in, Bad Neighbors also featured guest spots by Frank Murphy (bass -Elf Park, Autum), Joe Pascuzzi (guitar -JoLeo, Crossfire, Edgar’s Last Stand…), Ralph Reinoldi (guitar –Lost Incas, O’Malley’s March…), and others.

The group played hundreds of shows at the Cat’s Eye, also seen frequently at the Brass Saloon, Good Times, Junction Station, Shamrock Inn, Emerald Tavern, Dead Eye Saloon, Friar Tuck’s…
