Vocalist and “song stylist,” the former June Bowen, sang for the Bill Evett Quartette in the early ‘50s. She could be seen at the Captain’s Table in late ‘50s. She went on to sing for the Eddie Long Orchestra in the early ‘60s, the Joe King Trio, Dana Charles Trio, and later fronted her own trio where she could be seen at the Camelot.
