The Dimensions originated in West Edmondale. They competed and won first place in the Last Straw Battle of the Bands on August 26, 1966 vs. the Horde, Eppics, and DJ & the Livelihoods. Members of the band included Ken Anderson (drums), Jim Kestle (guitar), Rick Feehley (vocals), Al Martin, and Gary Deems (ex-Caravans).

Kestle later moved to bass and went on to join Cindy & the Censations, Con Chords, Coyote, Dan Patch, Paper Cup, Streetheart Band… Feehley went on to front Teeth – and later became president of the Columbia Teen Center. He played in ‘70s group Wingspan and in the ‘00s worked as booking agent for live music events at the Lake in Columbia.
Night club ads in 1967 showed a group called The Dimensions performing at Sweeney’s, Howard Place. Not sure if it was the same group.
