Baltimore artist, creator of the iconic Light Bus of Woodstock fame.

Recollections of Bob Hieronimus by Bob Grimm:
By April (1968) I was in Baltimore at Judges on Greenmount Ave. performing with [the Progressions].  For some reason we changed our name to “A Taste”, not quite sure why!  In April of 1968 we were out of work for a short time due to rioting … following the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr.

One night at the bar at Judges, sat an artist named Bob Hieronimus.  We seemed to have much in common and he talked of subjects that fascinated me.   He introduced our band to meditation.  There’s much more to the story, but … We changed our name to “Light” much because of his influence and our adoption of a symbolic and meditative progress for our band.  Hieronimus eventually painted my VW bus which became famous as the “Woodstock bus” after [it was photographed and published in the Associated Press].
