Top-40 rock band. Members included Francis Resch (lead guitar ex-12,000BC, Frank Resch Band), Louie Britton (bass ex-12,000BC), and Don Bellew (rhythm guitar), who were from Howard County, along with Dave Albert (keyboards), Randy Freund (drums), and Billy Foster (vocals).
Bella Donna practiced at Freund’s house near Erdman Avenue and Clifton Park. They performed at teen centers then on to local clubs including the Red Flame, Red Balloon, Club Brandy, Latin Casino, Club Venus… Performed concerts at the Ellicott City Theater…
A 1974 lineup featured Freund, and Foster with Bob (lead vocals, percussion), Tony (guitar), Dave (bass), and Bruce (electric piano).
Bellew went on to join Road Fever, Xpressions. Foster later with Taurus, Secrets… Resch played in Mustard Sead in the ‘80s.
