The orchestra pit band for a production of the Broadway play “The Me Nobody Knows” at Center Stage. After the play ended, the band featuring Max Highstein (keyboards), George Alvey (bass), and Brian Freed (drums) was renamed April Sky adding Rick Hannah (lead guitar ex-Ivory Lizard, later went on to record and tour with The Brian Auger Express). Alvey and Freed also played together in Meat, and The Billy Cole Trio.
