Jazz and Top-40 band. They performed primarily for weddings, bull roasts, etc. Members included Keith LaMotte (trumpet, flugelhorn, percussion, vocals), Dennis Balog (organ, percussion, vocals ex-Wall of Sound, Sand Pebbles), Gary Wingate (bass), and Rick Lyne (drums). With this line-up the group released an LP in 1973 titled “Daybreak” (KidMott 3955). Later members also included Pete Pucci (guitar), Joe Miceli (piano), Jay Gross (drums), Vicky Atwood (vocals)… Bassist Howard Brown (ex-Taxie) played for the band (ex-Bobby J & the Generations).

Gross was replaced in 1981 by Paul Brown (Howard’s brother).
Paul Brown later left to play with The Klass Band.
After Six circa 1987-91 featured lead vocalist and keyboardist Trish Penninger, Jerry Scoggins (guitar, vocals -was original lead vocalist for Paper Cup), Howard Brown (bass, vocals), Tommy Davis (drums -of Bobby J & the Generations).
Keith left in mid-80s to do a duo with Jill Cohen, and later formed the Keith LaMotte Band featuring Jimmy Johnston (guitar ex-Shane, Harbor City, Trilogy), George Collier (bass ex-Notations, Flywheel, Switch), Mike Lang (keyboards), and Juan Vasquez (drums ex-Summer’s Misfits, Annie Oakley). Johnston was later replaced with Bunky Markert (ex-Summer’s Misfits, Staggerwing). In the ‘00s LaMotte operated a video and DJ service in Orlando, FL.
Wingate later with Brian New & Winning Sound. Atwood also with Ajax, Trilogy… Penninger later started the band Flashpoint.
