Former saxophonist of the Johnsville band the Five Bees. Billy, along with Freddy Rhuebottom (keyboards) wrote and recorded “Church” Pt.1 and Pt.2. The instrumental song was used as the theme song for a local radio program.
Billy later led his Anderson’s All-Star Band, performing a variety of music specializing in R&B.
Freddy continued performing into the ‘00s, most recently with Everyday People, an R&B group fronted by Ira Glover.
