The Esquires featured saxophonist Andy Ennis. They performed at the Knotty Pine in the late ‘50s, and on double bills with the Crystals at the Surf Club in the early ‘60s where they were advertised as “the twistingest band in town!” The Esquires also played house band stints at D’Mitry’s, Minnick’s, and Sperl’s.
