Acoustic folk-blues band from Pikesville seen at frequent engagements at the Upstairs Lounge (above the Club Venus) in the Perring Plaza Shopping Center. They released a self-titled LP (ESP-2006) in 1970 recorded at ITI Studios and produced by George Motion (aka Massenburg) who also sat in with the group on bass guitar. The group consisted of Howard Lamden aka ‘Chops’ (guitar), Alan Singer (bass), Arnold Sell (banjo), and Neil Ricklen (mandolin, fiddle, guitar). Singer was later replaced with Allan Bormel, a bassist from Baltimore who had worked with a northern California band called Atlantis (1968-71). Matthew Kaufman was also a member of the group although he did not appear on their album. He went on to co-found Beserkley Records.
