Country group led by South Carolina based Charlie Moore. As a performing and recording partner of Bill Napier, the duo performed nationally and were recognized as one of the nation’s top bluegrass artists. In association with Baltimore’s Ray Davis, Moore released the single “The Rebel Soldier” b/w “Best Female Actress of The Year” (Wango 203) in 1971. A 1973 reworking of “The Rebel Soldier” on Homestead Records became one of the top bluegrass songs of the ‘70s.

Moore appeared on the 1976 Don Reno album “Profile” (Wango 113). Wango also released a reissue album of Moore’s earlier material titled “The Original Rebel Soldier” (Wango 114).
