Joe Dasher & his Million-Aires performed at the Wilton Nite Club at 807 Ridgely Street in the early ‘50s. His R&B trio dubbed “heat with a beat” were seen performing at Carl’s Musical Bar, Club Diamond on East Baltimore Street, Chick’s Lounge. Members included Joe Dasher, Jimmy Nelson (bass), Donald Lee (drums), and ‘Shakey’ Brown.
