Towson band formed in 1963 at Dumbarton Junior High School. In 1964 Simpkins and Sandebecke left to form the Noblemen (of Towson). Around that time Gordon met Vern Ruppert at his TV repair shop on York Road who soon became active in in guiding the young group to become more professional and tighten up their sound.
