The CTRB formed in 2000, reviving past musical partnerships and friendships in order to play for fun, and record original music and favorite classics.

They released a couple of indie CDs. Their song “The Echoes Show” was the theme song for Kenny Schreiber’s weekly Echoes of the Past radio show on WTMD-FM. They also performed shows at the Arbutus Fire Hall (with a reunion of the Koffee Beans), and at the June 15, 2002 R&B Jam with the Epics, Dynamics, Majestics, Mello Men, and others.
