Keyboard player from New Windsor, attended FSK High School class of 1974. Locally he was not very active in music other than a few local pick-up bands, until attending the University of South Florida where he majored in music theory and composition. After moving to California looking for work as a musician, he submitted a recording of his song “Babylon Bleu” to Keyboard magazine and won their 1987 Reader Tape Contest.

Guy co-wrote and performed on the recording of “K.I.S.S.I.N.G.” a national hit for Seidah Garrett in 1988 (Qwest Records), and was a member of recording group Ashton, appearing on their 1988 RCA album “Modern Pilgrims.”

In 1988 Babylon joined the Elton John Band as a permanent member, appearing on the albums “Sleeping with The Past” (1989), “One” (1992), “Big Picture” (1997), “One Night Only” (2000), “Peachtree Road” (2004). His arrangements for Elton John & Tim Rick’s 1999 CD “Aida” earned a Grammy Award in 2001.

Additionally, Guy performed on albums by B. B. King “80” (2005), and Luciano Pavarotti “The Duets” (2008)…
