R&B group featured John Lamkin (trumpet, fluegelhorn), and his wife Eartha Lamkin (lead vocals) – both formerly of Natural Gas – with group consisting of former members of Edmondson Village based Black Image (Image) including Harlin Gray (lead/rhythm guitar, vocals), Dennis Pearson (lead/rhythm guitar), James Lowry (bass), Nathan Johnson aka ‘Beethoven’ (keyboards), Bobby Ricks (drums), and Lamont Davidson (sax).

Seen at Brice’s Hilltop Inn, Club Zambizi (D.C.), Jackie Lee’s (D.C.), eastern shore, and points up and down the east coast.

John Lamkin was member of Luther Ingram’s Unit Truth in the early ‘70s. He performed with Ingram at the 1972 Wattstax concert in L.A., appearing in the soundtrack and movie. In later years he taught music at Edmondson High School.
