Group formed by former Secrets members Bob Linkous (keyboards), Harry DeBusk (bass -A New Day), and Duane ‘Fritz’ Freter (drums -Phoenix), along with Rick Olaguer (guitar ex-Rosco, Paper Cup II…), and Ron Zebron (guitar). The group also included later members David Bell (guitar -Ravyns), and George Mexis (drums).
The Cha Cha Boys played throughout the Beltway circuit clubs as well as Billy’s Saloon (Aberdeen), and Samantha’s (Ocean City)…
Freter later joined up with songwriter Joe Jacobson to form duo called Mirage… Zebron later with Zebron, Never Never… DeBusk, Olaguer, Linkous, and Freter later with Hay for The Donkey…
