The Capris were a fixture at Sweeney’s on Greenmount Avenue in the early ‘60s. First as the Capri IV, then billed as Harry Marsiglia & the Capris. During ‘62-’63 the Capris IV shared the stage at Sweeney’s with other local groups including Billy Martin & the Corvairs, the Centennials, and the Crossfires.

Other places that the Capris played included Irene’s Burgundy Lounge, Sherry’s Inn, Hoover’s, Green Dolphin, and the Homeland House as Harry Marsiglia & his Swinging Capri Three.
Marsiglia had previously played saxophone for the Sound-Tones, and Al Knight’s Untouchables. He also owned a barber shop at the corner of Lombard and Calhoun Streets.
