In 1986 the station was sold once again and became WWMX “Mix 106” playing a format of Adult Contemporary. 

Personalities included Tim Watts, Pete Michaels, Kym Landers, Jim Curtis, Paul Mayer, Don Kelley, Ken Pauli, Mike McCarthy, Denise Edwards, Johnny Dark, Tamara Nelson, Scott Carpenter, Jason Kidd, Sarah Jacob, ‘Fast Jimi’ Roberts, Scott Brady… The long-running morning show (’90s-00s) Jo Jo & Kenny (Jo Jo Girard and Kenny Campbell) released a series of recordings featuring their parodies, prank phone calls, and comedic routines. Proceeds were donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the JoJo & Kenny Children’s Fund.
